Day 21 of 500,000 Word Challenge

Well, tonight I didn't get as much writing done as I'd hoped. Partly because my silly brain woke me up earlier in the day than it should and despite a nap after my hubby left, I was still rather tired. But the main reason was because I was having trouble figuring out why the scene I was writing wasn't working.

After poking and prodding uncooperative scene and reading over the previous one a couple times, I finally figured it out and ended up write 343 words on a new creature's description (my own spin on the mythological Grimalkin) in my 'travel guide' as I call it. It is a collection of everything pertaining to my world, that when I'm finished with, I may publish as well. After that, I managed another 994 words on the trouble scene in my first book of The Last Doomling series. That brings me to a total of 1,337 for the night and a grand total of 39,920 words, leaving me 484 words to make up for tonight.

After a short, restless nap(during which something decided to bother my eyelid, I think a spider bit me), I ate breakfast at about ten am, took a rushed shower, then my father in law and I dragged two of my kids into town for a nutritionist appointment that was ultimately canceled because the nutritionist hadn't shown up that day. After rescheduling, we went to Walmart to pick up some groceries and drool over speech recognition programs and voice recorders. Then we went to pay all the bills. Needless to say, its been a fairly long day for me and I'm now ready to go to bed. Night all!
