Slowly, but surely.

Despite picking up a few more books at the library yesterday (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire both by Stieg Larsson), I’m taking a break from reading and diving back into my writing.

There have been a ton of things on my mind lately that have my attention span about equal with a fruit fly’s, so focusing has been a struggle, even on things non-work related. I’ve set aside work on the maps/world building stuff once I realized it was ultimately stalling my progress, taking the advice of a writing blog I read a short while ago.

Currently, I'm working on two projects,
my stand alone novel, Rescuing the Prince, that I worked on during Nanowrimo, and my The Last Doomling Series. Mostly The Last Doomling series, at this point. I’ve been writing the new scenes that will be added to the first book and hunting down images and such I can use for creating book covers, which I have to admit has been fun. I have a few new Brandon scenes in the making, a new date scene between my main char, Katherine and Damien, and a few new scenes from Damien's P.O.V. The revision of the book has changed it a lot from the original version, but I’m much happier with it so far. While the main story remains the same, a lot of scenes have been rewritten and improved upon. I just hope that everyone will enjoy reading it as much as I have writing it.
