I can’t believe the month of November is almost over with already! Whoosh.
Naturally, this means the time left to finish my Nano novel is growing short. Only four days left! Eeep! At this moment, I currently have a little more than I need to be on par, with a word count of 45,502. I plan to write even more today and see if I can't get tomorrow's words in early. I'd love to beat my new personal best word count, which I got during this Nano with 7,450+ written in less than 24 hours!
My story, (tentatively titled) Rescuing the Prince, has been going well and has been fun to write, but fly by the seat of your pants type writing can be difficult! At this point, the main characters in my nano novel have finally grouped together and there is still so much story left! With that many words already written and being so close to the beginning of the story, I'm pretty positive I have another epic sized novel on my hands.
Once it is finished, I do intend to put it for sale, but that might take a while as there is no way it will be finished by the end of November. At this point, I will not be offering a predicted release date for it, as I'm not sure how long it will take to finish writing and go through editing and my beta readers.
I've not done any reading at all this month, partly because I've been so busy with my own writing and partly because I want to save it as a reward when I finally reach that big 50K word count! When NaNoWriMo is over, I'm going to take a short break for refilling my creative well with the imaginary worlds of other writers. I have the latest book, Starflower, by Anne Elisabeth Stengl that I'm just dying to read sitting on my desk along with Diety by Jennifer L. Armentrout, both of which I'm eager to dive into. So much reading to catch up on!
