What kind of pets do you have?
Update: I know it's not actually National Pet Month in the US, but it is in the UK.
Today I've gotten some more writing done. I'm currently working on the third chapter in the restarted version of my second book, Blush. I think I'll be able to use a decent amount of the material I wrote in the first draft, so hopefully it won't take me too long to finish it. I have to laugh whenever I hear someone tell me that writing fiction is easy. Usually those people don't do it for a living.
I sit down to write pretty much every day, normally as long as 8+ hours straight and often up to 12. Sometimes it just flows and others it's more like swimming through a vat of mud. If you're a writer, don't let anyone convince you that you're not meant to be one if it doesn't always flow for you. My best day so far I got just under 6,000 words written, but most days I get somewhere between 500 and 1,500. Some days everything distracts me and I don't get squat done. For me writing isn't always easy, but I love telling stories and think I'm pretty good at it. I'll let you be the judge.
